About the Role:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable data solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure platform, with a strong focus on Azure Synapse Analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data architectures, including data warehousing (DWH), data lakes, and data pipelines.
• Define and document data models, including dimensional and snowflake schemas, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate data technologies and tools within the Azure ecosystem, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data professionals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
• Proven experience with data warehousing (DWH) principles and methodologies.
• Strong experience with data modeling techniques, including dimensional and snowflake schemas.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, with a strong focus on Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
