Java Developer (Greece)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and design software solutions in IT projects based on JEE (Java Enterprise Edition)
• Take part in the further development of a Java application with a web interface
• Perform database development and maintenance for the application
• Support the deployment process to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of the software
• Assist in test phases, identify and address bugs effectively
• Collaborate with customers in workshops to identify the best technical and business solutions
• Contribute own ideas and suggestions to enhance the development process Independently implement assigned JIRA tickets to meet project objectives
• Ensure software functionality throughout the development process and actively participate in documentation efforts

Requirements: 

• A university degree in computer science, business informatics or in a comparable course of study
• At least 3 years of experience with development languages Kotlin/ Java- and Java EE, as well as extensive knowledge of Java technologies (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, JPA, JSP, Primefaces, JSF, Groovy, Spock)
• Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL
• Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, persuasiveness, and work gladly in a team
• A high self-initiative, commitment as well as an independent and structured functioning
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• German language skills would be considered an advantage
