Senior Data Engineer (Azure,Databricks)

Responsibilities:
 

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration from various sources.

  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing data workflows for performance and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

  • Provide support and maintenance for existing data infrastructure.

 

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Informatics

  • Experience with Databricks-specific features and optimizations.

  • Strong experience in оne of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Scala, Java.

  • Experience with big data technologies such as: Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, HBase , Hive , Flink ,…

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines in a production environment.

  • Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and data processing frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL concepts.

  • Knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Data Manipulation and querying.

  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Nice to have:
 

  • Proficiency with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and tools.

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional, Apache Spark Developer,…).
