Data Quality Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test and document Data Quality (DQ) and Master Data Management (MDM) processes from detailed and high level specifications, and assist in troubleshooting

  • Close work with clients in order to identify critical data elements and define data quality criteria including business rules, definitions, and tolerance levels

  • Establish data quality dimensions, such as data completeness, conformance, consistency, validity, and timeliness

  • Profile, cleanse, master and monitor data utilizing DQ/MDM tools such as Ataccama, Informatica DQ

  • Configure DQ exceptions managements and reference data management environments

  • Work closely with business departments


Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related numerate / quantitative subject

  • Knowledge and experience with SQL, data analysis and modelling

  • Experience with any ETL/DQ/MDM tools such as Informatica PowerCenter/IDQ/MDM, Ataccama DQC/MDC, SAP Business Objects Data Services/Data Quality; IBM InfoSphere DataStage/QualityStage/MetaStage, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Ab Initio, MS SSIS/DQS/MDS will be considered as an advantage

  • Critical thinking, creativity and strong communication skills

  • Interest and ability to learn ETL/DQ/MDM tools

  • English language proficiency (spoken and written)
