AWS Data Engineer

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience working with AWS data services such as Redshift, S3, EMR, and Athena.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, manipulation, and querying large datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have:
 

• Hands-on experience with Spark and Scala for big data processing.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Previous experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud solutions
• Build, release, and manage the data driven solutions
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
• Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services
• Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions and best practices in this area
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
• Use, implement and support CI/CD pipelines when necessary
• Recommend process and architecture improvements
• Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
• Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a company’s services and products
