Finance Administrator

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years in billing, revenue operations, or project accounting
  • Financial & Billing experience, in a similar role
  • Process discipline, deadline management, with attention to detail
  • Strong experience with MS Excel
  • Good understanding of MS Word
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management


Nice to have:

  • Cloud cost management using cloud native or 3rd party tools (FinOps)
  • Data Analysis & Automation
  • Prior experience within an MSP Billing & Finance
  • Cloud certifications (fundamentals or FinOps focused)
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation

 

Responsibilities:

  • Track project margins, investigate discrepancies, and maintain financial integrity across Managed Services
  • Reconcile Microsoft and AWS consumption data, verify vendor invoices, and approve monthly cost allocations
  • Generate and validate client invoices, ensure Finance alignment for tax and revenue recognition, and manage client billing correspondence
  • Review billing terms in contracts, flag potential risks, and coordinate updates to contracts and retainers with Finance
  • Manage FSS forecasts, revenue and cost tracking, and submit financial reports on time
  • Assist with month-end close activities, consolidations, reporting, and adjustments
  • Keep Partner-led project trackers up to date to support cross-team accountability
  • Identify and resolve billing inefficiencies, lead root cause analyses, and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to monthly financial reviews with insights and recommendations to enhance performance
