AWS Solution Architect

We are looking for experienced AWS engineers for

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Implement enhancements to the platform in terms of integrations as well as platform-internal features through provisioning of new resources, updating existing setup and updating the code base with OSS updates from the McKinsey ARK project.

• Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage.

For the more senior tech lead/senior cloud engineer, expectation to also be able to oversee the overall architecture implementation within AWS, as well as a strong knowledge of agile implementation methods and best practices.

Required knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with AWS serverless services like Glue, Athena, Step Functions, SageMaker, DynamoDB, EKS as well as fundamental services like S3, IAM, VPC.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, ideally using Terraform and CloudFormation

• Experience with A2A and MCP protocols

• Experience with Python, ideally with the boto3 and the “AWS SDK for pandas” libraries

• Additional experience with the data stores and data analysis in the cloud is helpful

• Knowledge of agile implementation methods and common project tools (like Azure DevOps)

• Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.

• Proficiency in implementing cost-optimization strategies.

• Good documentation and coaching practice.
