API Developer

       Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless services
  • Work with Amazon DynamoDB for high-performance NoSQL data storage
  • Develop container-based services using Amazon ECS when needed
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable backend solutions
  • Optimize API performance and scalability, ensuring low latency and high availability
  • Monitor applications using AWS CloudWatch and troubleshoot issues in production.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. 

 

      Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or other
  • Solid understanding of AWS Serverless (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon ECS)
  • Familiarity with REST principles and API security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
