Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and develop Azure cloud infrastructure and eventually expand the responsibility to managing AWS infrastructure (and possibly AWS) as well.
  • Optimize and develop current base Azure setup (tenants, subscriptions, management groups) to achieve a secure, controlled and flexible environment.
  • Setup automation to ensure Azure resources are provisioned in automated way leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and common DevOps practices. Ensure FinOps setup to control cost of our cloud environments.
  • Provision, configure, and monitor Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, VNets, and Storage.
  • Integrate and administer network components, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and on-prem-to-cloud integrations.
  • Ensure identity management is based on centrally managed identity solution based on EntraId.
  • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity with Azure services.
  • Design and implement monitoring and optimization of infrastructure performance using combination of Azure and on-prem tools.
  • Support and troubleshoot incidents across hybrid environments.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Able to build and lead team of cloud engineers
  • Strong expertise in Azure services
  • Some experience with AWS
  • Proficiency in network configuration: Virtual Networks, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of IaC tools and DevOps practices.
  • Good in scripting/automation: Azure PowerShell, CLI, Bash.
  • Understanding of core infrastructure architecture and scalability principles

 

Good to have one or more:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
